Chloe Weeks

Chloe went to DeMontFort University where she obtained an honours degree in Design Management. Whilst there she was taught the basics of CAD – Computer Aided Design. Using this as a foundation, she furthered her CAD skills whilst working for engineers and architects. Chloe also spent several years working for an international interior designer.

Deciding to go it alone, Chloe set up a successful business providing floor plans to estate agents – hence the business name ‘Footprint’. Unfortunately, technology moves on and floor plans can now be produced with a simple handheld device; although, according to Chloe, the accuracy leaves something to be desired!

Then, in 2006, the government changed the rules around land registry compliant plans (which you can find here). This made it more difficult to ‘just’ draw a thick red line around a basic plan and send it in. Grasping this opportunity, Chloe re-focused the business, providing a variety of land registry compliant plans. She has now been doing this for 16 years and has had no rejections; as long as her advice has been followed!
